About Suzumo Machinery

Suzumo Machinery is a Tokyo-based manufacturer established in January 1961. Its automated machines handle the rice-processing steps behind sushi, onigiri and prepared meals: measuring portions, forming rice, rolling sushi, placing portions and supporting packaging. The portfolio spans restaurant and retail kitchens as well as factory production lines, with sales and service operations serving international food markets.

The compact S-Cube shapes sushi rice in confined workspaces and allows operators to adjust rice weight and compression. It launched in July 2024; its October 2026 installation aboard SUSHI BUS is a new operating application rather than a product debut. The SSN-KTA range includes versions with remaining-rice detection to help operators monitor the supply. Suzumo also offers restaurant workflow systems, including image-based checkout, alongside its mechanical food-processing equipment.
