About Tashan Technology
Tashan Technology develops tactile sensing from the semiconductor layer through finished robot interfaces. Its Ruby tactile-AI chip uses neuromorphic processing for local touch interpretation, while TS-R and related sensor families measure contact, pressure and deformation across fingers or surfaces. TS-F combines proximity, three-dimensional force, temperature and texture sensing, with the company stating force resolution down to 0.01 newtons.
Robot makers can integrate these components as fingertip sensors, grippers or larger electronic-skin arrays, then use Tashan’s algorithms to turn raw signals into contact state, slip and material information. The company is also building a tactile training platform for collecting and using interaction data in embodied models. This full-stack position links component design with manipulation behaviour: the chip processes the signal, the sensor captures physical contact and the software exposes it to the robot controller.
