Technicon designs and produces compact automation systems for pharmaceutical and life-science manufacturing. Its teams combine industrial robots and cobots with tooling, fine mechanics, machine vision, controls and software for processes spanning API handling, fill and finish, device production, quality-control laboratories, packaging and assembly.
The company reports more than 300 completed robotics solutions and operates as Universal Robots' global Certified Solution Partner for pharmaceuticals. At GMPack, Technicon built three modular cream-filling units, each coordinating two UR7e cobots for container handling and capping in a high-mix production workflow.

The turnkey setup has three modular cream-filling units, each combining two UR7e cobots in a coordinated workflow. Within each module, one cobot positions empty containers and the second applies caps and places finished products; integrated printing supports batch traceability. The line reduces process variability, improves hygiene control, increases production capacity without added headcount and supports scalable high-mix manufacturing.
