Toyota Tsusho participates in industrial automation through equipment sourcing, system integration, investment and deployment across its manufacturing customer base. It can connect robot makers and specialist software companies with factories requiring welding, painting, handling and inspection automation, while supporting procurement, project management and international expansion.
Its February 2026 investment in LINKWIZ adds software that uses point clouds and robot-mounted sensing to recognise three-dimensional conditions and correct robot paths automatically. The technology supports welding, painting and assembly while also inspecting completed work. Toyota Tsusho plans to combine this autonomous-control layer with its customer network and on-site engineering capability to improve productivity and quality across manufacturing sites.
