TurbineOne builds deployable artificial-intelligence software for defence and national-security users operating where cloud services or reliable connectivity are unavailable. Its Frontline Perception System lets operators build, tune and deploy recognition models against field sensor data without coding.
The company is extending that edge-perception base into cross-platform autonomy and rapid aerial-system prototyping. T1 EdgeWorks provides a test environment for frontline AI, while T1 MachineWorks in Maine adds physical engineering and manufacturing capacity for autonomous-system development.

- 2026-08-27 - Facility Opening - TurbineOne opens T1 MachineWorks in Maine
TurbineOne expects an initial US$275,000 investment in the Old Town operation. The site supports cross-platform autonomy software, autonomous-system experimentation, 3D manufacturing and rapid aerial-platform prototyping. TurbineOne selected the location for proximity to the University of Maine and aerial and maritime test environments.

Deployed units use the software to process multi-source sensor data where communications, bandwidth and cloud access are constrained. Frontline Perception performs detection, classification and decision support at the tactical edge. The deployment forms part of Army modernization work intended to move operational intelligence closer to frontline personnel.
