About
About UMag Solutions
UMag Solutions develops drone-mounted magnetic sensing systems for detecting buried or submerged objects. Its payloads and software support mine and unexploded-ordnance surveys, maritime threat detection, archaeology and geophysical work. Operators collect magnetic measurements from the air, reducing the need for people or survey vessels to enter difficult or hazardous areas.
The current range includes the V2Mag gradiometer system and FastMag maritime payload. UMagMission is included with the hardware and covers mission planning, execution, automated processing and target analysis. UMag also provides complete survey services, delivering processed data and reports rather than only equipment. The company reports more than 150 commercial UXO surveys across Europe since 2018. Founded as a DTU Space spinout, it designs, builds and validates its systems in-house from Birkerød, Denmark.
