About Unicore Communications
Unicore’s UM980 and related modules receive multiple frequencies across GPS, BeiDou, Galileo and other satellite constellations, then use real-time kinematic corrections to calculate centimetre-level position. Compact board formats allow the positioning engine to be embedded directly into drones, autonomous mowers, survey instruments and mobile robots.
GNSS/INS products such as UM681A combine satellite measurements with inertial sensing, preserving smoother position and orientation estimates when signals are briefly blocked. Dual-antenna receivers can also calculate heading while stationary or moving slowly, supporting precise navigation for vehicles that cannot rely on travel direction alone.
