About
Ursa Major develops propulsion and complete aerospace and defense systems across hypersonics, solid rocket motors and space mobility. Its scope includes liquid rocket engines, tactically responsive satellite propulsion, extended-range rocket motors and HAVOC, a complete hypersonic missile system. Additive manufacturing, integrated testing and modular production architectures connect component design with all-up-round manufacturing.
In August 2026, Ursa Major signed a definitive business-combination agreement with Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. III. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027 subject to shareholder, regulatory and other approvals, so Ursa Major remains private. The company reported more than 5,500 ground tests, over 140,000 seconds of testing and engines used in more than a dozen successful hypersonic missions.
