About
About Whale Dynamic
Whale Dynamic develops the autonomy stack and vehicle hardware together for driverless delivery. Its software spans perception, localisation, mapping, planning and vehicle control, while its hardware offering includes a purpose-built delivery vehicle and sensor-fusion equipment for development platforms.
The company first developed and tested its driving technology on passenger cars before transferring it to an electric delivery vehicle designed without a steering wheel, pedals or driver’s seat. That development platform used two Ouster OS-128 lidar sensors as its primary sensing hardware. The approach separates road testing of the autonomy system from the final vehicle packaging required for transporting goods.
