WORLD became a Rado family business in 1986 and expanded from eight employees to more than 100 across facilities in Reading and Indiana, Pennsylvania. Its manufacturing offer spans design-for-manufacturability support, printed-circuit-board assembly, test development, automated inspection, supply-chain management and complete-system assembly. The current Reading facility opened in 1999.
The company serves multiple electronics markets, so its robotics relevance is not the whole business. Exyn Technologies’ public filing names WORLD as an assembly-services supplier and attributes about 13% of the autonomous-drone developer’s assembly-services purchases to the company in the reported period. That evidence places WORLD in the robotics electronics supply chain without recasting it as a drone or robot OEM.
