About Yank Technologies
Yank Technologies develops wireless power systems for mobility, industrial equipment and aerospace applications. Its work includes high-power transfer across gaps and misalignment, along with power-conversion electronics. NASA research programmes extend that technology to robotic vehicles and equipment for lunar and planetary use.

- 2026-10-06 - Award - Yank Technologies wins two NASA Phase I awards for robotic wireless power
One project develops modular kilowatt-class wireless power that accommodates misalignment and regolith contamination. The other develops a compact AC-DC converter with self-diagnostics for voltage, current and temperature. Yank says the awards are its seventh and eighth NASA contracts.

The receiver-converter project consolidates multiple power-conversion stages into a wide-input-voltage design intended to reduce rover mass and improve efficiency. The connector project addresses unreliable mechanical mating and wear from regolith and dust; the contracts fund development rather than completed planetary deployments.
