About Zio Robot
Zio Robot develops Mobile Walker autonomous platforms in payload classes ranging from approximately 200 kg to 3,000 kg. The machines combine mobile chassis, navigation sensors, intelligent control and application-specific load interfaces for moving racks, materials and production equipment. Zio controls the process from mechanical and electrical design through robot manufacture and fleet software.
Deployments are configured around the operating environment and its specific logistics workflow. Industrial models move components between production stations, while hospital systems can transport medicines, samples, linen and other enclosed loads through corridors and lifts. Zio was founded in 2022 by researchers from DGIST and has supplied Mobile Walker systems to Korean and overseas manufacturing sites, including Samsung Electronics production operations.
