CGT50-VTOL is A-techSYN's hybrid fixed-wing uncrewed aircraft for runway-independent civil missions. The composite T-tail airframe spans 4.71 metres, carries a five-kilogram payload and has a 55-kilogram maximum take-off weight. Electric motors handle vertical take-off and landing, while a petrol engine powers cruise flight for endurance of up to six hours.
The aircraft can land on a five-by-five-metre surface and is designed for operation by a two-person crew. A-techSYN's AvionicsMini flight-control system supports autonomous take-off, mission execution and landing, with separate encrypted command and payload-video links. The published configuration is positioned for inspection, mapping and survey work where launch infrastructure is unavailable, while payload selection and mission approval remain deployment-specific.

2023-03-30 - Partnership - The CGT50 VTOL ecosystem gains the TSO-certified MXS ADS-B in and out transponder, the DoD AIMS-certified MX12B Mode 5 IFF transponder and Sagetech onboard ACAS Xu detect-and-avoid processing. A-techSYN became a licensed Sagetech reseller in Ireland for the XP Series, MX Series and ACAS X-based detect-and-avoid products. A-techSYN said it had developed eight UAVs, a flight control system, 17 UAS subsystems and ground-control software over the preceding nine years.
