About Airpeak S1
Airpeak S1 was a professional multirotor designed around Sony Alpha cameras and compatible Gremsy gimbals. Stereo cameras, infrared ranging sensors and onboard flight control supported obstacle braking and stable positioning, while retractable landing gear cleared the camera’s field of view. The aircraft carried up to approximately 2.5 kilograms and reached flight times of up to 30 minutes without a payload.
Airpeak Flight provided piloting, telemetry and camera control, with optional RTK equipment for higher-precision positioning and mapping work. The platform was used for cinematography, surveying and infrastructure imaging. Sony ended sales of the aircraft and most related products in March 2025, with remaining battery and propeller sales ending by March 2026.
