Alpha A800

Alpha A800 is a lightweight fuel-powered unmanned helicopter for surveillance and sensing missions. The aircraft has a maximum takeoff weight below 14 kilograms, flies for more than 2.5 hours and has a stated range beyond 50 kilometres. Its payload provision supports electro-optical, infrared and other mission sensors, with the current product page describing a two-kilogram operating payload and a 2.5-kilogram option.

The complete system includes a ground-control station and tracking antenna and can be prepared for flight in under 15 minutes. Fully automated flight and autorotation support remote operations from compact field teams. Alpha identifies maritime surveillance, reconnaissance, border control, search and rescue, disaster response, infrastructure inspection and LiDAR mapping among the intended mission profiles.
