About Trimble Applanix POS AV

Applanix POS AV combines survey-grade GNSS and inertial sensing to calculate the position and orientation of airborne cameras, lidar, radar and imaging systems. It supplies exterior-orientation data during flight and logs measurements for refined post-mission georeferencing.

POS AV 310, 510, 610 and AVX 210 configurations provide different orientation performance and installation sizes. POSPac Complete adds CenterPoint RTX, boresight calibration and lidar or camera quality-control tools. The system supports crewed survey aircraft, helicopters and larger UAV mapping platforms.
