Trimble Applanix POS AV

Applanix POS AV is a family of compact GNSS-inertial position-and-orientation systems for direct georeferencing of airborne sensor data. It synchronizes cameras, lidar, imaging sensors and synthetic-aperture radar with survey-grade positioning and orientation, supporting both real-time output and POSPac Complete post-processing.

The current family comprises POS AV 310, 510 and 610 plus POS AVX 210. Under the published SmartBase post-processed comparison, all four list 0.02-metre horizontal and 0.05-metre vertical RMS accuracy, while velocity, roll/pitch and heading ratings vary by model. The profile keeps family-wide functions separate from model-specific performance instead of assigning the highest-tier ratings to every variant.
