HSOR

About

About HSOR

HSOR combines hyperspectral imaging with wide-area search and onboard processing inside an airborne ISR payload. It evaluates spectral signatures during flight and highlights objects or materials associated with the mission, reducing dependence on later laboratory analysis of complete spectral scenes.

The sensor can search broad areas, classify detections and cue other electro-optical systems or operators toward targets that may be difficult to distinguish in conventional visible imagery. Edge processing reduces the bandwidth required to transmit raw hyperspectral cubes from an aircraft. ARKEUS positions HSOR for uncrewed aircraft and tactical platforms conducting surveillance and intelligence missions.
