About Robotic Stamping Stacking (ROSS)

Robotic Stamping Stacking, or ROSS, automates the repetitive handling of large formed metal parts as they leave a press line. The cell picks parts from a conveyor linked to hot- or cold-forming equipment and builds organised stacks without requiring operators to perform the heavy manual handling.

AWL offers a modular layout that can adapt to product changes and capacity requirements. A mono-gripper configuration reaches up to 180 picks per hour, while a multi-gripper arrangement reaches up to 1,000 picks per hour in a stated compact footprint of four by six metres.
