T-650 Heavy-Lift UAS

BAE Systems T-650 is an all-electric heavy-lift unmanned aircraft concept developed with Malloy Aeronautics. Its design target is a 300-kilogram payload, placing it above the smaller aircraft currently used to test T-Series technologies. An open architecture is intended to support customer-selected mission equipment, autonomy software and payload integration without locking the aircraft to one role.

The concept covers ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore logistics, resupply in remote areas, carriage of sensors or weapons and potential casualty evacuation. Those are intended applications for the T-650, not completed demonstrations by the exact aircraft. BAE Systems' active flight and payload trials use the smaller T-600 demonstrator to mature electric propulsion, control and heavy-lift techniques for the programme. T-650 therefore remains in development until an exact full-scale vehicle and its performance are publicly demonstrated.
