TUGGY

TUGGY is BALYO’s autonomous tugger for warehouse and manufacturing milk runs. The vehicle couples to carts and trailers and moves them between production, storage and transfer points without floor markers. Infrastructure-free SLAM, a 3D curtain LiDAR and safety-rated obstacle detection allow it to operate on changing routes around people and equipment.

The tugger can pull up to 7,000 kilograms and travel at up to 2 metres per second. Its stated footprint is 1,706 millimetres long, 709 millimetres wide and 2,351 millimetres high including the sensor mast. BALYO’s fleet software connects missions to the surrounding warehouse or production system and coordinates traffic with other robotic vehicles.
