Bastian Automation Engineering’s Custom Tube Loader for Furnace is a purpose-built material-handling machine for dispensing stainless-steel tubes during a furnace assembly process. It presents the tubes to the production workflow in a controlled sequence, replacing repeated manual handling at the furnace line and keeping the loader’s mechanism tied to the customer’s tube geometry and assembly arrangement.

The exact installation was developed to improve worker ergonomics and increase throughput in the client’s assembly process. It is a custom engineered subsystem, not a catalogue robot with a universal task set: the storage, dispensing and transfer arrangement is designed around the stainless-steel tubes and the receiving furnace operation.
