BERRY
About
About BERRY
BERRY is a greenhouse strawberry-harvesting robot that packs fruit directly into sales punnets. Growers set the variety, target ripeness and filling level, and the vision system uses those settings to select fruit. The picking mechanism cuts the stem, avoiding direct contact with the berry.
Weight control determines when to move to the next punnet, while automatic crate exchange continues the packing sequence. Filled containers remain in onboard storage until unloading. This connects selective picking with preparation of sale-ready packs, reducing the need to transfer harvested fruit between containers. Organifarms assesses greenhouse compatibility and offers on-site demonstrations before a grower proceeds with integration.
