About
About MV250
MV250 is BETA Technologies’ series-hybrid autonomous VTOL aircraft programme, with a modular cabin designed for logistics and other payloads. The planned arrangement provides 250 cubic feet of cabin space and accommodates three Joint Modular Intermodal Containers, connecting the aircraft to a standardised cargo-handling format.
Its turbogenerator is also intended to supply power beyond propulsion, including onboard payload demand and offboard equipment when on the ground. The mission concept includes cargo transport, casualty evacuation and a mobile power role, with reconfiguration around the load being carried. These are design capabilities of the developing aircraft, whose operating radius and endurance are specified for different payload and flight profiles.

2026-07-20 - Product Launch - MV250 carries a 2,000 lb payload within a 250-nautical-mile tactical radius and has a 1,300-nautical-mile reposition range. The platform uses BETA's ALIA architecture and a GE Aerospace-BETA turbogenerator with a CT7/T700-based turbine. Build-up flight tests have demonstrated both Sikorsky MATRIX and BETA autonomy systems on the aircraft architecture.
