WOLF-X

WOLF-X is an 8×8 wheeled robotic combat vehicle developed by HDT Global and now presented under the BLADE brand. Terrain Flex suspension gives each wheel more than one foot of independent travel, while a fifth-generation Stealth Hybrid diesel-electric powertrain combines field mobility with a lower acoustic and thermal signature. Lithium iron phosphate batteries use active liquid cooling and heating.

The base vehicle was designed to fit inside a CH-47D helicopter and to accept modular computing, protection and mission payloads. HDT unveiled WOLF-X at AUSA in October 2023 for the US Army Robotic Combat Vehicle programme and described an advanced configuration able to carry enhanced armour and an MK44 30 mm chain gun. The record therefore retains demonstrated maturity and HDT-to-BLADE product continuity.
