About

About Boxfish LUNA

Boxfish LUNA uses eight vectored thrusters for six-degree-of-freedom camera movement and stable underwater positioning. Sony α1 and A7S III camera options support full-frame video, high-resolution stills and direct control of exposure, focus, zoom, white balance and ISO from the surface console.

The battery-powered ROV operates for four to 15 hours and is rated to 500 metres, with a 1,000-metre configuration available. A fibre-optic tether carries live video to a 17-inch 4K control display. Two people can transport, deploy and operate the complete system from its portable control equipment.
