Dane AiR DC

About

About Dane AiR DC

Dane AiR DC is Dane Technologies' autonomous inventory-scanning robot for warehouses, distribution centres and manufacturing facilities. A tall scanning structure sits above a circular mobile base, allowing barcode and RFID capture from pallet and case locations in racking. Brain Corp's BrainOS provides autonomous navigation, while configurable Cognex readers support different rack heights and inventory layouts.

The robot collects inventory data as it travels through the facility and connects that information to warehouse-management systems. Dane specifies scanning at heights up to 38 feet, automated docking and recharging, and a current battery runtime of up to eight hours. Reader configuration depends on the site. The DC model is offered through direct commercial inquiry and differs from Dane's shorter retail-scanning robot in dimensions, weight and battery specification.
