About Guardian
Guardian is a 20-kilogram public-safety quadcopter that can launch manually or from BRINC's robotic Guardian Station. Dual 4K visual cameras, dual 1280-pixel thermal imagers, a laser rangefinder, spotlight and 130 dBA speaker give remote operators several ways to observe and communicate at an incident. Mesh, dual-SIM 5G and satellite links provide redundant communications paths.
The aircraft is rated for 62 minutes of flight, IP55 weather resistance and a 4.5-kilogram payload. Guardian Station can swap batteries and load one of twenty stored payloads before launch. Integrated ADS-B, radar, visual sensing, downward lidar, an emergency parachute and dual RTK receivers support automated operations, while each deployment still requires the applicable airspace authority and operating procedures.
