About SQA eVTOL

SQA eVTOL is C-Astral’s compact vertical-take-off unmanned aircraft for medium-range observation. Fixed-wing flight extends coverage after take-off, while interchangeable sensing options include electro-optical, infrared and lidar equipment. A failsafe parachute provides a separate recovery mechanism.

The aircraft is designed for missions lasting up to three hours, with operation up to forty kilometres from the ground station in the described configuration. Different command-and-control datalink arrangements are available to connect the aircraft, payload and ground operator. This allows the system to be configured around the required observation payload and communications environment.
