About PULSE CP-STK 3-D Ultrasound Sensor

PULSE CP-STK gives development teams a small hardware-and-software package for experimenting with spatial perception based on sound. Short ultrasonic bursts reflect from surrounding surfaces, and the receiving elements use their arrival times to reconstruct nearby geometry. Developers can examine processed spatial results or lower-level acoustic signals, then test whether the modality adds useful coverage beside cameras, radar or lidar on a prototype machine.

The working interval runs from roughly 0.1 to 15 metres, with nominal horizontal and vertical coverage of 180 and 160 degrees. Update frequency can reach about 30 hertz. Measuring 59.5 by 43 by 15.4 millimetres and weighing around 40 grams, the module receives five-volt data and power over USB-C at about 0.7 watt average. It is an evaluation kit without finished-product certification; target shape, material, ambient acoustics and setup affect performance.
