About Clearbot Alligator

Clearbot Alligator is a 6.2 m electric workboat built specifically for cutting and collecting dense water hyacinth and other invasive aquatic vegetation. Its larger hull and vegetation-handling equipment distinguish it from Clearbot's compact floating-litter and survey vessels, while AI navigation and remote control support operation across ports, lakes and heavily infested water bodies.

The vessel is specified for four hours of battery operation, a 2-knot average speed and 3 km range. In a Veolia project in Hong Kong, Clear Robotics reports that Alligator cleared 3,000 square metres and collected 260 tonnes of hyacinth over two weeks at about 90 square metres per hour.
