About Husky A300

Husky A300 is Clearpath Robotics' skid-steer unmanned ground vehicle for outdoor robotics research and autonomous-system development. Its all-metal chassis, four in-wheel brushless motors and IP54 protection support operation across uneven terrain and adverse weather. The platform carries up to 100 kg on level ground, travels at up to 2 m/s and provides a large mounting surface and electrical outputs for sensors, computers, manipulators and custom payloads.

The robot ships with ROS 2 and current developer documentation for hardware integration and software control. Clearpath offers sensor packages, a manipulator configuration and Husky AMP, which combines the A300 base with OutdoorNav autonomy software for GPS-based missions. Battery configurations trade added mass for longer operating time, so payload and runtime depend on the installed package.
