About CorPath GRX

CorPath GRX is Corindus’ second-generation endovascular robotic system, now part of Siemens Healthineers. A bedside unit attaches to the procedure-table rail and drives a sterile single-use cassette, while the physician controls guidewires, guide catheters and rapid-exchange devices from a cockpit that can be positioned away from the X-ray source. The cassette can move as many as three devices independently and simultaneously.

The control console provides joystick manipulation, discrete 1 mm movements and submillimetre anatomy measurement. Siemens lists compatibility with 5–7 Fr guide catheters, 0.014-inch guidewires and rapid-exchange devices with a proximal shaft no larger than 2.3 Fr. Published positioning and radiation figures describe the system’s technical and operator-protection performance; actual procedure use remains clinician-controlled rather than autonomous.
