Corax

Corax is Corvus Drones’ compact indoor inspection quadcopter for autonomous flight without GPS. The 330-gram aircraft uses dual fisheye cameras for visual-inertial odometry, a time-of-flight sensor for obstacle avoidance and 3D mapping, and a 12-megapixel colour camera for inspection imagery.

VOXL 2 compute runs mapping, path planning and flight software onboard, with ROS 2, OpenCV, Docker, MAVROS and MAVSDK support. Corax flies for more than 25 minutes and measures 268 by 305 by 63 millimetres. Replaceable propeller guards protect the aircraft in confined spaces, while a 400-millimetre docking station centres and charges it for repeated autonomous missions.
