Deep Forestry Autonomous Forest Drone

About

About Deep Forestry Autonomous Forest Drone

Deep Forestry’s autonomous forest drone navigates between trees beneath the canopy using lidar, RGB imaging and onboard obstacle avoidance. The low-altitude flight path records complete stems and individual-tree geometry that standard above-canopy aerial surveys cannot capture.

Collected data uploads to a cloud AI pipeline that segments and measures each tree, including height, diameter, volume, species and health indicators. Results are delivered through an interactive three-dimensional forest model within 24 hours and can connect with biodiversity, carbon and enterprise forest-management systems.
