DT340S

The DT340S package combines a remotely controlled crawler with a pan, tilt and zoom camera for examining sewer, stormwater and water-main interiors. The camera mounts directly on the body for smaller pipes, while a raising arm positions it nearer the centre of larger pipes or above the waterline. Interchangeable wheels adapt the setup to pipe size.

Onboard batteries power the crawler, so the communication tether does not need to carry operating power from an external generator. Deep Trekker describes up to eight hours of battery operation and a submersion rating of 50 metres. The package includes a tether reel, handheld controller and recording equipment for documenting the inspection.
