About Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS)

Divergent Adaptive Production System is a software-defined manufacturing platform that links design, metal additive production and automated assembly. Its engineering software translates product requirements into structures optimised against performance targets and manufacturing constraints. The Monolith One additive system then produces parts in standard aluminium, nickel, steel and titanium alloys. Divergent retains the manufacturing equipment within its own platform; the printer is not offered for purchase or licence.

Autonomous robotic assembly joins printed structures using proprietary processes without product-specific tooling and fixtures, supporting assemblies up to 9 metres long. Divergent applies the same adaptive factory infrastructure to different products, including metal and multi-material structures for aerospace, defence, automotive and industrial programmes. DAPS is operated as a commercial production service: customers procure designed and manufactured structures or programme capacity, while the integrated software, printers and assembly system remain the production platform behind those deliveries.
