About HUUVER

HUUVER is an integrated flying-and-driving robot developed through EU Horizon 2020 programme 870236. A multirotor frame provides vertical take-off and roughly 20 minutes of flight, while two tracked units let the same 23 kg platform drive for up to ten hours after landing. The vehicle measures 137 × 84 × 56 cm and carries a Velodyne Puck LITE lidar, visible and FLIR thermal imaging and an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier for onboard processing.

Dronehub led the seven-partner, five-country consortium and publicly revealed the platform in February 2022. HUUVER was developed as the first UAV integrating full Galileo Open Service Navigation Message Authentication, allowing the receiver to verify signed navigation messages. The hybrid mobility envelope supports mixed-terrain search and rescue, infrastructure inspection and ISR research. It remains a programme-derived platform available for licensing and co-development; volume off-the-shelf production has not been announced.
