Beacon

Dronetag Beacon is a self-powered Direct or Broadcast Remote ID module that attaches externally to a drone. It broadcasts the aircraft's identity and position over Bluetooth for compliant operations across FAA, EASA, CAA, MLIT and CAAS regions, without requiring integration into the flight controller.

The module weighs 16 grams and measures 37 by 26 by 16 millimetres. Dronetag quotes six to eight hours of battery life depending on configuration. GNSS, a barometer and an accelerometer provide position and motion data, while the IP43 enclosure is rated for operation from -20°C to +60°C.
