TerraMax

TerraMax v3 is an all-electric four-wheel-drive platform carrying up to 750 kilograms on oil-palm estates. Terra AI combines visual-inertial localisation, terrain perception and per-tree recognition, allowing operation under canopy, on slopes and through dust, peat or mud without RTK GPS. The current deployed workflow applies fertiliser at individual root zones and logs each pass.

EarthSense states that the third-generation platform has operated in the field since 2024 and completed a two-year closed beta with a large sustainable-palm producer. It is now offered through supervised pilots and a fertilising-as-a-service model that includes maintenance, software and trained drivers. Spraying, transport and harvesting remain planned modules on the chassis, so they are not represented as current operational capabilities.
