Elios 2

About

About Elios 2

Elios 2 is Flyability’s collision-tolerant inspection drone for navigating enclosed industrial spaces with a protective cage around its rotors. A pilot uses the live camera feed to examine structures, with optical and thermal cameras recording together. The optical system captures 4K video and 12-megapixel still images for closer inspection.

Distance Lock assists the pilot in maintaining separation from a surface, while altitude control helps hold height. Adjustable onboard lighting and camera tilt support inspection from different angles. During flight, the pilot can mark points of interest; these are reviewed with the recordings in Flyability Inspector to connect observations with the inspection record.
