SCOUTcargo

SCOUTcargo is a passive-load configuration in Fabmatics' SCOUT family of autonomous cleanroom transport robots. It carries boxes and other production materials between programmable destinations without floor or ceiling guidance. A configurable factory map, 3D obstacle sensing and central fleet management allow multiple vehicles to share routes with staff and equipment.

The referenced SCOUT platform travels at up to 1.4 m/s, supports passive transport loads up to 50 kg and is qualified for cleanrooms through ISO class 3. Published operation reaches about 18 hours following five hours of charging, with opportunity charging available. These are family-platform values; carrier geometry, cleanroom class, payload restraint and host-factory interfaces must be resolved for the delivered SCOUTcargo configuration.
