Falco Xplorer

Falco Xplorer is Leonardo’s remotely piloted surveillance aircraft with an integrated radar, electro-optical turret and electronic-intelligence payload. The sensor suite includes Gabbiano T-80 radar, SAGE equipment and an automatic identification system for maritime work. A satellite link extends communication beyond terrestrial line of sight, and the architecture supports additional third-party sensors.

Leonardo designs the aircraft together with its mission system and ground-control station. Customers can acquire the complete system or use a managed service in which Leonardo flies the aircraft and supplies surveillance information. The platform is designed for more than twenty-four hours of endurance, with payload capacity up to 350 kg.
