Gereon
About
About Gereon
Gereon is a modular tracked unmanned ground vehicle for logistics, surveillance and emergency-response work across uneven terrain. The 500-kilogram payload ceiling, 15-kilometre-per-hour top speed and 40-kilometre range place it in ARX Robotics' medium UGV class, while manual and autonomous control modes support both direct driving and planned missions.
Its upper structure accepts cargo, casualty-evacuation equipment, sensors and communications payloads without changing the base vehicle. Thermal vision supports low-light operation, and the remote-control link extends to four kilometres. A configured system can operate for as long as 72 hours, while ARX's Mithra software connects vehicles, payloads and fleet status for coordinated field use.

2026-04-15 - Contract Award - Through Task Force RAPSTONE, ARX Robotics UK received an initial British Army order for UK-manufactured GEREON uncrewed ground vehicles with ISR payloads and technical support for Recce-Strike experimentation. The award followed trials and operational experimentation with British Army operators, including exercises in Kenya and the Baltics. ARX said the contract coincided with the start of UK manufacturing and linked the programme to its wider £45 million UK expansion plan.

2025-12-11 - Demonstration - British soldiers completed a ground-to-air Recce-Strike sequence using an ARX Gereon UGV to identify and pass targeting data for a Helsing HX-2 loitering munition. The exercise was conducted during Exercise Haraka Storm in Kenya and was framed as a live field milestone in the two companies' collaboration. ARX said the demonstration showed how unmanned ground and aerial systems could shorten decision cycles, extend stand-off range, and reduce personnel exposure.
