Scan&Inspect

GrayMatter Robotics’ Scan&Inspect is an automated dimensional-inspection and defect-detection system for large or geometrically complex manufactured parts. It captures real-time quality data on the production line and applies the company’s physical-AI software to the scanned surface, giving manufacturers an inspection route for high-mix components that would otherwise require repeated manual measurement.

The system is positioned for metrology, defect detection and online process monitoring, with the inspection application sharing GrayMatter’s Factory SuperIntelligence software layer with its sanding, blasting and spraying products. That common control layer allows inspection data and finishing automation to sit within a broader factory workflow. GrayMatter delivers the system through a service package that includes the robotic hardware, software, operator training and continuous support, while the installed configuration is adapted to the customer’s part sizes, geometries and quality-control requirements.
