Bayonet Sweep

About

About Bayonet Sweep

Bayonet Sweep is Greensea IQ's autonomous underwater robot for inspecting vessel hulls during naval force-protection and port-security work. It can swim through open water for stand-off coverage and crawl along a hull for close inspection of running gear, sea chests and other confined areas. The inspection workflow detects anomalies, classifies potential threats and records each contact's location on the hull.

The system combines a 25.8-kilogram dry vehicle with Greensea Core software and the Bayonet Workspace operator interface. Its rated maximum speed is 1 metre per second, and it can launch without a permanent installation. Operators can deploy one vehicle or several units for an inspection. The system is commercially available through Greensea IQ's defence sales team, with operator training and remote support.
