Microlab STAR

Hamilton Microlab STAR is an automated liquid-handling workstation for configurable laboratory workflows. The deck provides 55 labware positions, while channel configurations support up to sixteen 1 mL channels or eight 5 mL channels. The platform is used to automate repeatable pipetting steps across sample preparation, assay setup and related life-science processes.

STAR combines a modular deck with software-controlled liquid handling and can be configured around the labware, carriers and accessories required by a specific method. Its approximate 145-kilogram system weight and published enclosure dimensions describe the workstation itself. Actual throughput and method performance depend on the chosen channel layout, devices, consumables and validated laboratory protocol.
