XV3

XV3 is the mobile pollination robot at the centre of HarvestX’s automated strawberry-cultivation system. An XV3 Cart navigates inside a plant factory, carrying an XV3 Unit with sensing hardware, data-collection equipment and robotic arms. HarvestX uses the combined system for precision pollination and crop monitoring under controlled environmental conditions.

The robot is designed to work with the company’s cultivation racks and recipes, allowing the automation software and task modules to evolve without replacing the full farm installation. HarvestX announced the first commercial implementation at Hamamatsu Farm in November 2024 after completing product development. Harvesting was described at that time as a planned future addition, so the verified current scope centres on pollination, sensing and plant management.
