About NOMAD
NOMAD is a compact wheeled unmanned ground vehicle developed by Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions for light tactical missions. The vehicle weighs under 650 pounds and carries more than 1,000 pounds, with a footprint intended for transport in a full-size SUV or on an IBCT or NATO pallet. Mission modules support resupply, casualty evacuation, field power, breaching and other payloads.
Operators can drive NOMAD manually or by teleoperation, while autonomy options cover follow-me movement, waypoint navigation, obstacle avoidance, multi-vehicle control and ATAK integration. The vehicle can carry two or three litters in casualty-evacuation configurations. Its field-power package combines onboard generation with additional mission-power modules, reaching 33.4 kilowatt-hours of total mobile energy in the stated configuration.
