About

About TRML-4D

TRML-4D is a mobile C-band AESA radar for air surveillance and target acquisition within ground-based air-defence networks. Its electronically steered antenna forms multiple digital beams to detect, classify and track aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles and small fast-moving targets. HENSOLDT reports coverage out to 250 kilometres and altitudes up to 30 kilometres, with approximately 1,500 tracks maintained at once.

The radar is mounted on a military truck for rapid relocation and can be set up or packed away in about ten minutes. It supplies three-dimensional target data to systems including IRIS-T SLM and can operate as part of NATO-compatible integrated air defence. The transportable configuration combines the antenna, processing equipment, operator interfaces and power support into a deployable sensor unit.
