Cobot Cutter

Cobot Cutter is Hirebotics' portable plasma-cutting cell built around a Universal Robots UR8 Long arm and a Hypertherm Powermax SYNC power source. The listed base configuration pairs the arm's 68.9-inch reach with a Powermax85 SYNC and 45-degree SmartSYNC torch on a 48-by-32-inch mobile cart. Powermax65, 105 and 125 options cover different cutting requirements.

Operators prepare jobs through Hirebotics' Beacon software on a phone or tablet and use the Smart Puck for physical controls at the cell. The package is intended to move computer-directed plasma cutting between suitable work areas, but it still requires appropriate workholding, consumables, extraction and safety controls. Its published starting price refers to a configured system; reach, cut capacity and cycle performance depend on the selected plasma source, material and programmed path.
